Mary
Louise is a professional clarinet player and a Performance graduate of the USC
School of Music. She studied Early Childhood Education and Music at Fullerton
College. Mary Louise studied privately with Mitchell Lurie, David Shifrin and
Karl Leister of the Berlin Philiharmonic.
For13
years, she was co-principal clarinetist with the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, in
Cape Town,
South Africa Other orchestral experience includes, Fullerton Community
Orchestra, USC Symphony Orchestra, Breckenridge Symphony Orchestra, and the West
LA Orchestra. She currently performs with many local orchestras in
Orange
County, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.
Mary
Louise teaches clarinet at Fullerton College and has been a clinician since
1983. She has extensive experience in teaching beginning students, and in
preparing more advanced students for auditions and competitions.
