The famous exercises that are studied by nearly every flutist. Includes 17 technical studies that cover every key, articulation, interval and arpeggio throughout the range of the flute. Short instructions are included to begin practicing slowly with a metronome to perfect all four to ten suggested articulations. The chromatic exercises are written out through the first octave, after which it is repeated up one and two octaves. Major and minor exercises are written out for each key. These studies will help the flutist master finger memory, memorization, tempo and practically all other areas of technique.
