One customer's 'new instrument' sale is not another's reject. Many online discounters move instruments "freely about the country" (to borrow a line from the airlines). The instruments are tried out for a week or two and then shipped back to be resold again. Be assured that if ABI sells an instrument that has EVER been sold, it is CLEARLY labeled as used or demo.
Expert repair service is at the center of our business. Full time, experienced brass and woodwind technicians do repairs on site. "Some of the best in the biz" according to the buzz. Estimates are free of charge, extensive parts inventory in stock, and our work is guaranteed.
Quality Control is Important and Necessary. Every instrument we receive from the manufacturers is uncrated, unpacked and inspected for concealed damage. We then take care of any adjustments ("repairs") or we return the instrument for replacement. At the time of sale, instruments are inspected again by our staff.
We refuse to compromise the value of our products or service. Your confidence in us is too important. At ABI, we will not 'bait and switch' with product selection. We maintain a comprehensive depth of inventory and our selection is always based on quality brands.

Your hard earned money should be spent on well made products that retain value and are serviceable. We believe it's our job to provide you with the products you need.
Comparing prices? It's fair for consumers to simply compare advertised prices of the instrument. But might there be more potential cost ahead (in repair charges or shopping costs or time) that may be unanticipated or undisclosed?
We understand that discount pricing is important in order for us to compete and retain your business. ABI provides greatly reduced prices every day.
Will we meet or beat someone's "best deal"? If you're hunting for price wars, we're not your game. Other companies may operate that way. We're not those companies. They can't be us, and we don't want to be 'them'.
Honestly, if we desired to "beat the lowest price", we'd have to change our emphasis on quality control. We'd have to charge extra to actually open the boxes, inspect and perform needed shop adjustments.
Or maybe we'd have to advertise products we don't actually have in stock just to grab your attention. Or maybe we'd have to hire the pizza delivery guy to assist customers.
