 Legendary Jazz trombonist Jiggs Whigham gave an educational clinic on tone production and improvisation in June, 2006. Jiggs posed for a photo with ABI owners Diane and David Browne, and trombone instructor/artist Bill Tole.

 Wayne Bergeron (center) is one of the top studio recording artists and lead trumpet players in the music business and in the world. At a regional trumpet clinic hosted by ABI, Wayne trades notes with band directors Dan Robbins, Dan Methe, Rich Watson and trumpeters John Christianson and David Browne (rt.).

Nick Brignola, master of many reed instruments, took the baritone sax to another level, making it his voice, and inspired generations of improvisation soloists. Here, Nick clinics the Esperanza High School Jazz Band during a tour of So.Cal.schools. Nick passed away Feb.8, 2002. We are privileged to have known such a legendary musician. |

 Clay Jenkins, one of today's brightest trumpet artists and jazz director of the prestigious Eastman School of Music directs La Paz Intermediate Jazz Band. This afternoon workshop / concert also included Mission Viejo and San Clemente High Schools.
