Teacher Profile - Marilyn Taylor

Instruments: Flute, Piano Emphasis: Traditional, classical music.  Beginning through high school students. Will teach piano to adults.

After two years of music study at University of North Texas, Marilyn completed her degree in music education from CSU Fullerton.  Marilyn participated in Master Classes and Flute Pedagogy at the University of North Texas.  She has her Certificate in Piano Pedagogy and is a former member of Fullerton Symphony. 

Marilyn is a music instructor at Fairmont Private School and has many years of private teaching experience.  She is a member of the National Flute Association, SCSBOA, and Music Teachers Association of California, which provides opportunities for her students to participate in the Certificate of Merit performance and music theory program.
