Anthony serves as the Conductor of the Orange County Symphony and the Artistic Director of the critically acclaimed Apalachian Brass Orchestra. A multifaceted musician, Anthony is an active composer and arranger, having enjoyed recent premiers at international conferences in Washington D.C, Bangkok and Philadelphia.
Anthony studied bassoon with Robert Barris at Northwestern University and with Keith McClelland and Tristan Willems at ETSU. He has studied additionally with Judith LeClair (NY Philharmonic) and William Winstead (Cincinnati Symphony). Anthony has performed extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Australia and New Zealand and is an active clinician on all woodwind instruments.
Mr. Parnther’s students participate at music festivals such as Interlochen and Tanglewood and have earned scholarships at leading music schools throughout the United States
