Instrument - French Horn

Since graduating from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 1985 James (Jim) Taylor has performed with the San Francisco Opera and Symphony and is currently the Assistant Principal Horn of the Pacific Symphony Orchestra. As principal horn, Jim has performed with Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, San Diego Symphony, as well as with many of the worlds leading ballet companies. He has toured nationally with the Royal Philharmonic of London, and internationally with PSO.

Mr. Taylor is an active teacher and coach having taught at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Sacramento State University, and California Baptist University. He has taught band at grades levels 4 through 12 in both public and private schools and maintains a private lesson studio.
